Conformable, naturally lubricious braided packing primarily designed for use in high pressure, high temperature valve sealing applications. The soft compressible nature gives rise to good sealing performance at relatively low loads making the packing particularly suitable for sealing actuated valves. In addition, the packing is reinforced with Inconel wire giving rise to increased dimensional stability at extremes of temperature and pressure, whilst aiding packing extraction. Flexitallic 306 has excellent chemical resistance and is suitable for use in applications involving a wide range of chemical media (with the exception of strong oxidisers).
